Benjamin Woodson LAYNE 
Benjamin Woodson was born in 1777 in Goochland Co., VA.1 Benjamin Woodson's father was Ayres LAYNE and his mother was Mary WOODSON. His maternal grandparents were Robert III WOODSON and Rebecca PRYOR. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Robert, Frederick, Tarlton, John, Woodson, Lewis, George, Sally, Elizabeth (Betty) (Betsy) and Mary Polly. He was the second youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 67 on August 4th, 1844.1 -
