Adam Kinzer 
Adam was born on April 15th, 1844 in Morgan Co. IN.1 Adam's father was Henry Kinzer. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Benjamin, Hercheal, Mason, William, Susannah and Massie. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 80 on January 4th, 1925.1 General Notes

Adam Kinzer was a farmer and laborer. He worked
Construction work in Neb. in 1899. He had burns o both
legs and right arm. He first applied for a pension in 1882
and eventually received $50 a month.
Adam enlisted Co. D, 9 th Regt. Iowa Cav 8/20/1863 at
Richland IA, mustered out 2/28/1866 at Little Rock Ar. His
description: 5' 6", dark complexion, brown hair, grey eyes
in 1882 / in 1906 150 lbs, gray hair Buried Gass Cemt.
