  Rodham was a Church of England Minister in St George's Parish, Spotsylvania Co.
  He married Judith Beverly in 1730. After the death of Rodham, Judith married
  Thomas Roy.

  Rodham and Judith Beverly Kenner were married by Parson William Douglas.
  Another source of Rodham's death is Bef 25 Mar 1734, Spotsylvania Co., VA.
  Rodham died approx 26 years of age.
  As mentioned in the will Francis Kenner had three children. Rodham who later
  became Fev. Rodham, born September 28, 1707 and died about 1735 in Caroline
  county Virginia and married Judith Beverly, daughter of Harry Beverly.  After
  Rev. Rodham Kenner died, Dorothy Roy, mother of Thomal Roy, a man that did not
  have much success in business adventure, engeneered a marriage to Judith
  Beverly Kenner, who through her inheritance from the Beverly's was one of the
  richest wonen in the county.
  This time Thomas justified his mother's faith because he not only succeeded in
  gaining control of all of Judith's property, but also embezzeled trust funds
  belonging to her young son by the Rev. Kenner, without getting caught.  Her
  son's name was George, and to save his inheiritance from Thomas and Dorothy
  Roy, the court transferred custody of George's property from his mother to his
  uncle, Howson Kenner.  George Kenner died a rich man in 1772, and his widow,
  Margaret, promptly remarried.  Her new spouse was John Dugard, an adventurer,
  who only recently had moved to Caroline from Baltimore.  This marriage
  displeased her son, Rodham Kenner, II, a sporting youth much given to betting
  and drink, and when the newly wed pair cut down on his allowance for
  dissipation, he took a trip to Baltimore to see what dirt he might dig up on
  his step-father.  He dug up plenty.  Dugard already had a wife in Maryland
  when he married Margaret Kenner in Carolina.  Yound Rodham got affidavits to
  prove this from the Rev. Thomas Chase, rector of St. Paul's Parich, Baltimore,
  and the Governor of Maryland  and returned home with these documents.  The
  Caroline court speedily convicted Dugard for bigamy.  But, Dugard refused to
  accept this conviction and employed Patrick Henry to appeal his case in the
  general court of the colony of Williamsburg.  Henery was successful in the
  appeal and Dugard returned to Caroline a free man.  But, he refused to pay
  Henry his fee, and Henry who was a close collector, turned on him in his wrath
  and saved the Kenner fortune for Rodham,II.  Rodham Kenner,II, later
  distinguished himself as a naval officer aboard the PROCTOR  and the DRAGON
  during the Revolutionary War.
  However, wasn't Capt. F's son Rodham known to be, shall we say
  "irresponsible"? Even the very mildly spoken text of Meade's "Old Churches"
  portrays him as unable to hold any position for very long.
  I suppose you mean Meade's comments about him being like "...a rolling
  stone" and that the parishers were glad to see the last of him. Don't know
  that because he moved around a lot and wasn't well-liked (maybe he was a
  little too hard on the sinners) that he was a bad fellow. In any event, he had
  no need of his dad's money when a year after his dad's death he married into
  the very rich Beverly family. Then again, he only outlived his father by about
  7 years so maybe he was a bad boy.
