Rhain ap Hywel

Rhain ap was born in 0919 in of Dynevor, Llandyfeisant, Carmarthenshire, Wales.¹ Rhain ap's father was Hywell ap Cadell and his mother was Elen Ferch Llywarch. His paternal grandparents were Cadell Mawr ap Rhodri Mawr and Rheingar; his maternal grandfather was Llywarch ap Hyfaidd. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Owain ap, Maredydd ap, Rhodri ap, Dyfnwal ap, Edwin ap, Cynan ap, Einion ap, Gwenllian verch and Angharad verch. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 29 in 0948.¹
