Alice de was born about 1076 in Of, Flamsted, Hertfordshire, England.1 Alice de's father was Waltheof and her mother was Judith de Lens. Her paternal grandparents were Siward BIORNSSON and Aelfled (Elfleda) Of BERNICIA; her maternal grandparents were Lambert De BOULOGNE and Adélaïde de NORMANDIE. She had a brother and two sisters, named Eadulph of Northumbria, Matilda (Maud) de and daughter of Northumbria. She died after 1126.1 General Notes
