Dorcas Herring 
Dorcas was born in 1751.1 Dorcas' father was Benjamin Herring and her mother was Mary Bright. Her paternal grandparents were JOHN HERRING and Catherine Morbe. She had four sisters named Nancy, Bright, Sarah and Elizabeth. She was the oldest of the five children.-
