Samuel Gaddy

Samuel was born in 1786 in Anson Co. NC.¹ Samuel's father was Thomas Gaddy. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Gaddy and Lucy. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named William, Frederick P., Jeremiah, Thomas, James, Samuel, John, Peninah, Jane, Ann and Millie. He was the third youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 71 in 1857.¹
