William De Ferrers 
William De was born about 1136.1 William De's father was Robert William de Ferrers and his mother was Margaret Peverel. His paternal grandparents were Robert de Ferrers and Hawise de Vitre; his maternal grandparents were William Peverel and Avice de Lancaster. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Walcheline de, Robertde, Hugo de, Henry de, Isolda de and Matilda de. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died before October 21st, 1190 in Siege of Acre, Palestine.1 General Notes

Pe rsonally, I feel there could have been two brothers, William and Robert. Robert being the Ear l and when he died at Acre his nephew William son of his brother William suceeded, but no doc uments support this theory either!
