Margaret de Courtenay 
Margaret de was born in 1279.1 Margaret de's father was Hugh de Courtenay and her mother was Eleanor le Despencer. Her paternal grandparents were John de Courtenay and Isabel de Vere; her maternal grandparents were Hugh II le Despencer and Aliva Bassett. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Hugh II de, Philip de, Thomas de, John de, Robert de, Eleanor, Avelina Ada' de, Isabel de, Egeline de and Alice de. She was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.1 General Notes
