Her paternal grandparents were Richard Brent and Mary Huggerford; her maternal grandparents were Giles Reed and Katherine Greville. She had six brothers and six sisters, named Fulke, William, George, Giles, Edward, Richard, Mary, Margaret, Catherine, Elizabeth, Eleanor and Jane.-
