James F. was born on May 26th, 1872.1 James F.'s father was Hosea Bilyeu and his mother was Charlotte Angilen Cecil. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Bilyeu and Catherine Elizabeth Williams. He had three brothers and six sisters, named William H., Martin F., Sarah C., Aslina E., Margaret J., Mary L., Miley F., Susie C. and Winney B.. He was the third oldest of the ten children.-
