Thomas FitzHarding de was born in 1170 in of Berkeley, Gloucestershire, England.1 Thomas FitzHarding de's father was Maurice FitzRobert FitzHarding and his mother was Alice de Berkeley. His paternal grandparents were Robert FitzHarding and Eve FitzEstmond; his maternal grandfather was Roger de Berkeley. He had a brother and two sisters, named Robert FitzHarding de, Maud FitzHarding de and daughter de. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 73 on November 29th, 1243.1 General Notes
