His paternal grandparents were William de Braose and Agnes de ST CLARE; his maternal grandparents were Judeal Johel de TOTENAIS and Miss de PECGUIGNY. He had three brothers and two sisters, named John, Philip de, William de, Daughter de and Maud de. He was the third youngest of the six children.-
