Nigel de was born in 1080 in Aubigny, Normandy, France.1 Nigel de's father was Roger de Albini and his mother was Amice (de Albini). His paternal grandparents were William de Albini and Adelica Belvoir de Plessis. He had a brother named William II de. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 49 in November 1129 in of Thirsk, Yorkshire.1 General Notes
