Israel was born on May 18th, 1747 in Stafford, Ct..1 Israel's father was Noah ALDEN and his mother was Joanna Vaughan. His paternal grandparents were John ALDEN and Hannah White. He was an only child. He died at the age of 70 on July 20th, 1817 in Windsor, NY.1 General Notes

Several of Israel's Children came with him to Broome County, NY. Amongst them were Noah, Benj amin, Thankful, Moses, Abner, and David. This information came from Bernard Osborne, the tow n historian for Windsor, NY, (Broome Co)
Israels gravestone in Lester cemetery no longer exists. From readings in 1973-3 it read - Her e lies Israel Alden who died July 20, 1817 age 71" There was Sons of the American Revolutio n Marker,
Israel served in the Revolutionary War from 9/19/1777 to 10/16/1777 (28 days). He was a priva te in Noah Lankstons company, Col. John Ashley's Regiment (Berkshire Co). He marched to Still water by order of Brig. Gen. Fellows.
