William Wallace Young 
William Wallace was born about 1826 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.1 William Wallace's father was James Young and his mother was Elizabeth Young. His paternal grandparents were William Young and Elizabeth Leeper; his maternal grandparents were John Young and Margaret Galbraith. He had two brothers and four sisters, named John, Robert, Martha, Mary E., Matilda H. and Juliet Jane. He was the second oldest of the seven children.-
