James Witherow

James was born about 1781 in ,Rutherford, North Carolina.¹ James' father was William Witherow and his mother was Priscilla Richardson. His paternal grandparents were John Withrow and Mary. He had four brothers named John, Hugh, Gray and William. He was the second youngest of the five children.
