William Winegar 
William was born on February 6th, 1836 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.1 William's father was Stephen Winegar and his mother was Rhoda Robinett. His paternal grandparents were Peter Winegar and Julia Ann Slusher; his maternal grandparents were James Robinett and Catherine Darter. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Michael, John, Perry, Philip, Julia Ann, Louisa, Nancy A. and Sarah Elizabeth. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children.-
