Rachel Winegar 
Rachel was born in 1859 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.1 Rachel's father was Philip Winegar and her mother was Matilda Collins. Her paternal grandparents were Peter Winegar and Julia Ann Slusher. She had three brothers and five sisters, named William, Andrew, Philip, Louisa, Martha, Elizabeth, Mary and Sarah. She was the youngest of the nine children. She had two half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Peter, George, Catherine, Margaret, Julia, Rebecca and Phoebe.-
