John Wilson

John was born on July 27th, 1778 in Stafford County, VA.¹ John's father was William Wilson and his mother was Elizabeth Lattimore. His paternal grandparents were William Wilson and Alison Landals; his maternal grandparents were James Latimore and Priscilla. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named James, William, Thomas, George, Charles, Benjamin, Joseph, Hannah, Sarah, Elizabeth and Mary. He was the fourth oldest of the twelve children.
