Penelope E. R. Willis

Penelope E. R. was born about 1851 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹ Penelope E. R.'s father was James Larkin Willis and her mother was Sarah Stapleton. Her paternal grandparents were Larkin Willis and Mary Reese; her maternal grandparents were William Stapleton and Elizabeth Sizemore. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named James Madison Dalton, William, Iredell Campbell, Marquis De Lafayette, Perry C., Samuel H., Tivis R., Mary Ann, Annis R. and Somerville Richards. She was the second youngest of the eleven children. She had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Larkin W., Wilson W., Moses, Martha and Elizabeth. She died after 1860 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹
