William Weatherford

William was born about 1737.¹ William's father was Major Weatherford and his mother was Elizabeth Edwards. His paternal grandparents were William Weatherford and Susannah Waller; his maternal grandfather was William Edwards. He had three brothers and a sister, named Major, Richard, John and Elizabeth Maria. He was the second oldest of the five children.
