Mary Jane Watson 
Mary Jane was born in 1842 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.1 Mary Jane's father was Jonathan Watson and her mother was Susan Feathers. Her maternal grandparents were John L. Feathers and Sarah Barbara Sharrett. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Elbert Embere, John Wesley, Sarah Elizabeth, Amanda Carline, Margaret Alis and Adeline Christianah. She was the oldest of the seven children.
