Benjamin WOFFORD

Benjamin was born about 1806 in Guilford Co., North Carolina.¹   Benjamin's father was William Lafayette WOFFORD and his mother was Sarah Yerkes.  His paternal grandparents were John WOFFORD and Nancy Burroughs; his maternal grandfather was Samuel Yerkes. He had three brothers and three sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named John Smith, Charles Pinkney, William Doctor 'Doc', Elizabeth, Sarah, Levinia and James.  He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.  He died about 1855.¹
