John De was born about 1226 in of, Alton, Staffordshire, England.1 John De's father was Theobald "le Butzllen" BOTILLER (BUTLER and his mother was Rohese De VERDUN. His paternal grandparents were Theobald FITZWALTER (WALT and Maude Le VAVASOUR; his maternal grandparents were Nicholas De VERDUN and Mrs-Nicholas De VERDUN. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Theobold De, Humphrey, Theobald De, Theobald De, Maud (Matilda) De and Miss De. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died on October 21st, 1274 in ,,,England. He was buried on November 12th, 1274.1 1 General Notes
