Mary Tipsword

Mary was born in 1843 in ,Effingham, Illinois.¹ Mary's father was Thomas Tipsword and her mother was Anna Wallers. Her paternal grandparents were Griffin Tipsword and Ruth; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Waller and Waller. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Edward, Jonathan, Isaac, Andrew Jackson, Millie, Lydia, Eleanor and Isabel. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children.
