George Sullivan

George was born in 1850 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   George's father was William Sullivan and his mother was Sandle Mitchell.  His paternal grandfather was Ezekiel Sullivan. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Alfred, Jefferson, Mahala, Jane, Elizabeth, Martha and Sarah.  He was the third youngest of the eight children.
