Abijah Strickler 
Abijah was born on September 30th, 1869 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.1 Abijah's father was John Strickler and his mother was Mariah Hartman. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Strickler and Sarah Ann Frazier. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Samuel, John Washington, Sarah Ann, Eliza Jane, Mary E. D. and Christina Alice. He was the second youngest of the seven children.-
