Michael Stanhop

Michael's father was Edward Stanhop and his mother was Avelina Clifton. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Stanhop and Margaret Jernigan; his maternal grandfather was Gervase Clifton. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Marmaduke, Richard, Elizabeth and Joan. He had a half-sister named Anne.¹
