John Stallings 
John was born about 1658 in Virginia.1 John's father was Nicholas Stallings and his mother was Christian Morecroft. His maternal grandfather was Edward Morecroft. He had three brothers named Nicholas, Elias and Richard. He died before 1704 in Perquimans County, North Carolina.1
