William Smith

William was born in 1818.¹   William's father was Philip Smith and his mother was Mary. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named Philip, Alfred, Thomas, Martin, Isaac, Joseph, Nancy, Margaret, Elizabeth, Jane, Sarah Ann, Maria B. and Mary B..  He was the oldest of the fourteen children.
