Lovey E. Smith

Lovey E. was born in 1856 in Washington Co., Missouri.¹   Lovey E.'s father was William S. Smith and her mother was Emily Simpson.  Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin T. Smith and Mrs. Emily Smith; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Simpson and Lovey Coats. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Joseph S., William F., Samuel P., Benjamin, Nancy L., Rosanna and Mary.  She was the oldest of the eight children.
