George Smith

George was born in 1832 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   George's father was Alexander Smith and his mother was Mary.  His paternal grandfather was Alexander Smith. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, Hugh, Lucretia and Rebecca.  He was the third oldest of the five children.
