William J. Simpson

William J. was born on November 25th, 1861.¹   William J.'s father was William Dale Simpson and his mother was Malinda Jane Arnold.  His paternal grandparents were Jeremiah Simpson and Elizabeth Lautermilk. He had three brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Samuel, George B. and Elizabeth.  He was the oldest of the five children.
