John J. Simpson

John J. was born in 1835 in ,Sullivan, Tennessee.¹   John J.'s father was Jeremiah Simpson and his mother was Elizabeth Lautermilk. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William Dale, Henry, Jesse, Jeremiah, Mary, Sarah and Anna.  He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.
