Aloysius Simms 
Aloysius was born on March 10th, 1770 in Charles County, Maryland.1 Aloysius' father was Marmaduke Semmes and his mother was Susannah Burtles. His paternal grandparents were Francis Semmes and Lucretia Chapman; his maternal grandparents were William Burtles and Sarah. He had a brother and a sister, named Marmaduke and Sarah. He was the oldest of the three children.-
