John Vires Shipley 
John Vires was born on January 13th, 1857.1 John Vires' father was Benjamin Shipley and his mother was Edna Mauk. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Shipley and Catherine Wells; his maternal grandparents were Andrew Mauk and Sarah F. Droke. He had five brothers and seven sisters, named Andrew Jackson, Byer E., George C., Jacob M., Benjamin Franklin, Sarah C., Eliza A., Mary L., Martha Rebecca, Ellen J., Edna Vergie and Alice Willard. He was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 93 on August 10th, 1950.1 -
