George Washington Shipley

George Washington was born on November 11th, 1839 in ,Sullivan, Tennessee.¹   George Washington's father was Enoch Shipley and his mother was Lucy Ann Roller.  His maternal grandparents were George Roller and Elizabeth Shipley. He had a brother and two sisters, named Nathan Roller, Barbara and Mary Ann.  He was the youngest of the four children.  He died at the age of 61 on March 6th, 1901.¹
