John Sharp

John was born on August 30th, 1745 in ,,Of Penn..¹   John's father was John Sharp and his mother was Jane Hamilton.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Sharp and Cynthia Wallace; his maternal grandparents were William Hamilton and Catherine Graham. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, Benjamin, Eleanor, Mary, Elizabeth, Ann, Sarah and Susan.  He was the third oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 78 in 1823.¹
