Nannie Byrd Salts

Nannie Byrd was born in 1878 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.¹ Nannie Byrd's father was James Madison Salts and her mother was Susan Elizabeth Kerin. Her paternal grandparents were Daniel Salts and Rebecca Ball McCardle; her maternal grandparents were William Pierce Kerin and Mary Ann Doritha Burk. She had three sisters named Cora May, Mary Lee and Eulalie. She was the second youngest of the four children. She died at the age of 63 in 1941.¹
