Bird Russell 
Bird was born in 1848 in Casey County, Kentucky.1 Bird's father was George L. Russell and his mother was Eliza J. Bowmer. He was an only child. He died at the age of 36 on September 3rd, 1884 in Plum Point, Adair County, Kentucky.1 General Notes

Bird died of injuries suffered from a fall through a flour mill.
The year of 1884 was indeed a sad one for the Russell family, with the
loss of daughter Mattie, age 4 years in June, prior to the death of Mr.
Russell in September. Bird Russell was buried at Old Robinson Cemetery,
Plum Point, Adair County, Kentucky.
