Mary Ann Roy 
Mary Ann was born on August 15th, 1840 in Russell County, Kentucky.1 Mary Ann's father was William Roy and her mother was Julianna Gosser. Her paternal grandparents were Asa Roy and Susannah Hall; her maternal grandparents were Peter James Gosser and Elizabeth Dishon. She had six brothers and a sister, named William Riley, Jonas W., Asa M., George Cullen, Leonard J., Tolbert E. and Martha Ann. She was the second oldest of the eight children.1 General Notes

After the death of John W. Combest, his wife Mary and daughters sold their land to Tolbert Roy (Mary Roy Combest's brother). She then married Thomas Frazel/Frizel and moved to Texas.
