Gideon N. Roy 
Gideon N. was born in 1834 in Russell County, Kentucky.1 Gideon N.'s father was Lemuel Roy and his mother was Eleanor Wilson. His paternal grandparents were Asa Roy and Susannah Hall. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Silas M., Asa M., Moses W., Lemuel I., John W.J., Mary Ann, Elizabeth M.E., Jamima (?) S. and Julia Ann. He was the second oldest of the ten children. He died after 1859.1 General Notes
