James Robertson

James was born in 1828 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹ James' father was William Robertson and his mother was Mary Davis. His paternal grandparents were Richard Robertson and Mary. He had four brothers and six sisters, named William, Marion, Obadiah, Thomas, Sarah Jane, Elizabeth, Prudence, Adaline, Caroline and Catherine. He was the oldest of the eleven children.
