Absilla Rawls

Absilla was born about 1804 in Halifax, NC.¹ Absilla's father was William Rawls and her mother was Mary Young. Her paternal grandparents were Philip Rawls and Haynie. She had two brothers and four sisters, named John Daniels, Dolphin Drew, Elizabeth, Felitia Norfleet, Nancy Ann and Sarah Louise. She was the second oldest of the seven children.
