James R. Presley

James R. was born in 1853 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   James R.'s father was Jefferson Presley and his mother was Mary Ann.  His paternal grandparents were Andrew Presley and Mary. He had four brothers and five sisters, named William H., Irvin, John, Tazwell, Eliza Jane, Sarah A., Rose, Ida and Margaret.  He was the oldest of the ten children.
