Opechancanough Mangopeesomon Powhatan

Opechancanough Mangopeesomon was born about 1554 in Virginia.¹   Opechancanough Mangopeesomon's father was Running Stream Algonkian and his mother was Morning Flower Scent.  His paternal grandfather was Morning Ripple Algonkian; his maternal grandfather was Dashing Stream. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Wahunsenacawh, Opichapam Itoyatin, Apachamo Kekataugh, Powhatan and Powhatan.  He died in 1644 in Jamestown, Virginia.¹
