George Rutledge Powell

George Rutledge was born on September 6th, 1807 in Rogersville, Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   George Rutledge's father was Samuel Powell and his mother was Mary Caldwell Rutledge. He had a brother named Samuel.  He was the older of the two children.  He died at the age of 65 on August 30th, 1873.¹
