Benjamin Franklin was born in 1857 in Johnson Twp., Washington Co., Missouri.1 Benjamin Franklin's father was John Willet Pinson and his mother was Ellen Harmon. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Pinson and Mary Willet; his maternal grandparents were Jonas Harmon and Catherine Woolford. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Jonas H., Joseph A., Sarah Eliza, Elizabeth, Mary C., Martha A. and Phoebe C.. He was the third oldest of the eight children.-
