George Peters

George was born in 1845 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.¹   George's father was Isaac Peters and his mother was Mary Richardson Rivers.  His paternal grandparents were Conrad Peters and Susannah Weaver. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Samuel, Martin Luther, Noah, John R., Daniel, Susan, Rebecca, Martha, Mary Ann and S. Amanda.  He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children.
